CHURCHWARDENS

Churchwardens are the lay leaders of a parish church, and represent the congregation. They officially have the responsibility with the Parish Church Council (PCC) for the furnishings and fabric of the church building, and for maintaining order and decency. In a group of several parishes churchwardens are very important people!
